SPIRIT OF HAWAII COMIC SCENE At AMAZING COMIC CON ALOHA NOVEMBER 8-9-10

Amazing Comic Con is a the biggest Pop Culture Event to Hit Honolulu.  What makes this event from other smaller shows is that we showcase the rich tradition of HAWAII COMIC SCENE alongside the best creators in mainstream North American Comics.

We have previously announced great local talent coming to the Hawaii Convention Center such as Fan Favorite Cover Artist  DAVID NAKAYAMA, and one of the Animators of the hit streaming sensation HAZBIN HOTEL- Gavin Arucan .This post however is just another great spotlight to several of the 150 Comic Creators, Crafters, and Makers coming to the Artist Alley of the Amazing Comic Con Aloha November 8-9-10.

*SAM CAMPOS- Creator of PINEAPPLE MAN.  His independent creation, rivaled the sales of mainstream titles such as Batman and X-Men.  Sam Campos- an accomplished film maker and artist setting the tone for the Hawaii Comic Scene.  Come Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Hawaii Comic Scene with Pineapple Man

*SHANE MOLINA- The man behind HAWAIIAN MAKO DESIGN is a rising star on the comic con scene.  With great eye traditional and mix media, he gives a fresh take on STAR WARS and other Sci Fi Franchises.

*DENNIS FUJITAKE- a remarkable illustration, celebrated for his work on Dolgoda, Elfquest, and more.  His designs could be seen locally from Crazy Shirt.  His work was also seen as the Back-up Feature to Usage Yojimbo by fellow Hawaii Alumni Stan Sakai.  Dennis will be seated with Jon J. Murakami in Artist Alley.

*GARY KATO is another classic creator from the Local Hawaii Scene, penciling and painting.  He worked on creator owned projects such as ThunderBunny, as well as production art indy classics such as Ms. Tree and Elfquest.  He will be appearing courtesy of Murakami and Michael Cannon.

*MOG PARK grew up in Hawaii, and as well as her husband Mel.  MOG PARK has great credits from Game of Thrones, and a number of great covers in the current independent scene.  She is the featured artist for the VIP Packs, where her artwork will be seen on the badges as well many of the Original Sketches included in the gift Bag.
