MARV WOLFMAN makes his first Comic Con Appearance in Honolulu, Hawaii with AMAZING COMIC CON ALOHA August 24-25-26
As Teen Titans GO hits the movie theaters, we can reflect on his contributions to this franchise-
In 1980, Marv Wolfman with Co-Creator (and former Amazing Comic Con Aloha Guest) George Perez, relaunched the Teen Titans Frnchise in the pages of DC Comics Presents #26. Here, traditional members of the Titans such as Robin and Beast Boy were joined by all new creations- Cyborg, Starfire, and Raven.
Teen Titans under Wolfman became a tip title for DC, and a genuine hit in the comic market. Here, a number of characters were introduced including Deathstroke/Slade, Terra, Trigon, Brother Blood, Jericho, Ravingers and others. Characters grew up in Teen Titans with Robin becoming Nightwing, Speedy taking his Arsenal identity, and more.
These Marv Wolfman Era characters have gone on to have lives of their own, inspiring a number of comics, toys, film adaptations, cartoon series, and more. And of course the comedic take on the team TEEN TITANS GO is populated by Wolfman’s many contributions.

AMAZING COMIC CON ALOHA is Hawaii’s premiere Pop Culture Fan Fest, taking place in Honolulu at the end of AUGUST 24-25-26.
