Key Creator of Modern Age of Comics- MARV WOLFMAN goes to Honolulu for AMAZING COMIC CON ALOHA in AU
Amazing Comic Con Aloha has the best reputation for introducing true Architects of Pop Culture to the fans of Hawaii. 2018 is no different, as writer/creator MARV WOLFMAN makes his first professional appearance in Honolulu. The convention closes the summer season, taking place the Hawaii Convention Center August 24, 25, 26.
Marv Wolfman is a prolific writer ushering comic fans from the Silver/Bronze Age into the Modern Era. He is best known for his lengthy runs on TOMB OF DRACULA at Marvel Comics where he created the BLADE, the basis of the Marvel Cinematic Universe starring Wesley Snipe. With fan favorite runs on Amazing Spider-Man he created BLACK CAT, and added the Jessica Drew/SPIDER-WOMAN. Daredevil Nemesis BULLSEYE was another lasting creation from Wolfman during his Marvel Era.
Mark Wolfman migrated to DC Comics where he created the NEW TEEN TITANS -with Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire. He gave Robin a new Identity with NIGHTWING, and introduced DEATHSTROKE, and a rogues gallery which would follow every incarnation of the Titans. Wolf man wrote the groundbreaking CRISIS on INFINITE EARTHS, and other credits include Action Comics.
Later work include diverse offering from comics and animation. Clients include Disney, Transformers, and more.
