Amazing Comic Conventions believes that Pop Culture begins with Comics, and their creators. We are thrilled to announce the return of CHRIS CLAREMONT to the 2017 Amazing Comic Con.
Chris Claremont is best known for long standing run on The Uncanny X-Men, where he spearheaded the Giant Size X-Men to the modern era. Here, he created such epics as the Dark Phoenix Saga, The Mutant Massacre, God Loves/Man Kills, and more. Claremont penned the very first WOLVERINE solo series as well as his first adventures in his ongoing title.
Fan favorite Characters created by Chris Claremont include Gambit, Sabertooth, Alpha Flight, Psylocke, Mr. Sinister, Kitty Pryde, Emma Frost, Misty Knight, and many more.
Chris Claremont continues to impact Pop Culture in 2017. He wrote the early adventures of Danny Rand, the IRON FIST, which is a popular Marvel Netflix title. LEGION on the FX channel was a concept created by Claremont in the pages of New Mutants. The blockbuster film, LOGAN, featured the Reavers, Caliban, and more from the creative mind of Chris Claremont.
