COSTUMING & COSPLAY EVENTS at AMAZING COMIC CON ALOHA
COSTUMES & COSPLAY are a great part of Amazing Comic Con Aloha, as it showcases the fusion of fandom meets craftsmanship. Whether you are dressing up, or just admiring, Hardcore accurate with your costumes or completely casual, there are great events taking place throughout the weekend. Here are some highlights:
*FRIDAY NIGHT COSPLAY RED CARPET
This is a casual showcase of costuming. This takes place on the main stage at 7pm, in a quick catwalk turn on the main stage. This is a great chance to photo many of the individuals as well.
*SATURDAY PANEL: COSPLAY UPGRADES!
Upstairs Panel Room A
Diana Tolin of Dial C Costumes has set the standard on costume construction and fabrication. As part of World Cosplay Summit, she has represented Team USA, and is currently the the coordinator for the same organization. Diana has represented Professional clients include SCRAP Entertainment, Marvel, and Viz. Amazing Comic Con Aloha is thrilled for this accomplished expert to join us. In this special presentation, Diana guides costumers in upgrade their craft, improving on their existing cosplays. Highly Recommended for those involved in costuming and newbies as well!
*SATURDAY NIGHT COSTUME CONTEST
After the Main Hall closes promptly at 7pm, Fans at Amazing Las Comic Con Aloha are used to the Main Stage where the contestants will parade for a panel of judges. Sign-ups take place throughout the day at the Library Bards Booth. After a short concert by The LIBRARY BARDS, the coveted Best in Show Trophy will be Presented, along with several other categories. Prizes will be provided by Dial C for Cosplay, and number of show sponsors.
*SUNDAY KID’s COSTUME PARADE
As Amazing Comic Con closes for the weekend, all kids in costume are encouraged to stroll the stage. Here Everybody is a winner!
*MORE GREAT STUFF: STAR WARS PHOT OPS-
Also located in the Expo Area on the main floor, there will be great Photo Ops for the whole family here. Jedi Knights, Mandalorean Mercs, the Troops of the 501st and more fan groups will gather here!
