PREACHER coming to AMAZING Comics to Hollywood Panel & MORE from Producer and 1First Comics!
Amazing Comic Conventions believe that best Pop Culture begins with comics. While the macabre series THE PREACHER thrills audiences on AMC every Monday Night, it takes certain visionaries to bridge that gap between graphic novel and the entertainment world.
Amazing Comic Con is proud to announce addition of one such person, the executive producer of THE PREACHER- KEN F. LEVIN
KEN F. LEVIN occupies a unique position on the gateway between the comics industry and Hollywood. In the 1980’s, Ken co-founded 1FIRST COMICS, the first successful comic book company since Marvel. Since 2011 Ken has directed the company’s relaunch into publishing as its Director of Creative Content. Levin’s talent management company, NightSky Management works with a small select list of top comics creators, and Levin has been instrumental in negotiating, setting up and/or producing some of the industry’s most well known comic based films, including ROAD TO PERDITION, HELLBOY and HELLBOY 2, and WANTED. Ken Levin also was instrumental in setting up Garth Ennis PREACHER, airing now on the AMC Network.
Ken F. Levin comes to Amazing Comic Con along with his independent publishing company, 1FIRST COMICS and publishing partner Josh Blaylock. With booths set up on the Comic Con floor, they will be meting fans, signing autographs, and meeting talent throughout the event. Be sure to check the upcoming programming schedule which features 1First Comics, especially the PREACHER event. Here Ken will talk about the transition from the spinner rack to the film and TV. The first 200 fans at this panel will also a FREE Preacher #1, courtesy of AMC, DC Comics, and Amazing Hawaii Comic Con.
